Personal MP3 players are great little toys that you would probably use a whole lot more than you think you would! I know for me, when I first got mine, I thought that I would use it while exercising at the gym and that was it. I ended up using it all the time, from when I was walking to the store, to when I was out mowing the lawn.

The good thing about personal MP3 players is that they dont skip like portable CD players do. Some of the models could possibly skip, but it would only happen if you dropped it down the stairs. I have a Creative Labs MP3 player and Ive used it on the treadmill before and it didnt skip once, even when I was running pretty hard.

The Price of Players
I remember when I first bought my Rio MP3 player that it was quite expensive. Compared to how much they cost now, I really got ripped off! Thats the price of buying new technology as soon as it comes out though. By todays standards, with the amount of money I purchased my 128MB Rio player for, I could get one of the large MP3 jukeboxes!

I dont feel so bad though, because I still got a good deal on the player when I did buy it. I found a great website that sells only MP3 players and I was able to save quite a bit of money on it. If youre thinking about purchasing an MP3 player, try doing it online. You can get some fantastic deals on a wide variety of players.
